Click here for today’s reading: Ecclesiastes 3:9-15

Reflection: What is God’s will for your life?  Read verse 12–rejoice and do good.  When should we rejoice?  According to I Thessalonians 5:16, we should rejoice always.  What is “good”?  In Luke 18:19, Jesus tells us the only one who is good is God.  So…rejoice always and do things God would do.

Application: What do you need to let go of in order to rejoice?  What do you need to do so you can focus on God’s things?

Prayer: Father God, we get so entwined in our wretched, tiny perspectives.  Blow the bricks off our brains that we may see Your Son and the abundant life you promise.  In Jesus’ glorious name, Amen.
