“By wise counsel you will wage your own war…” –verse 6
This chapter begins as is common in Proverbs–be careful with whom you associate. Verse highlights another level of this same concept: be careful what war in which you are involved.
Are your fits and starts for reasons that are yours? Or have you adopted another’s battle? Did you choose to be where you are, fighting the fights you fight? Or did you stumble in a room one day and pick up another’s angst, using their frustration to fuel your own experience?
Be conscience of your decisions, as I must be conscious of mine.
