This Psalm brings images of the prostrate man. The man who works and moves and tries his best, to come before the Lord, knowing he can do nothing of his own. The Lord hears his cries about those with whom he struggles–for he lays his heart before the God of the universe. Humility and strength, both together, come when one knows to Whom they lay their life, and in Whom they trust their all.
May this image be the reality of your heart and mine.
