Today’s Reading: Psalm 43

The psalmist knew trouble most of his life. Chased by a king, chansed while a king, and family upheaval in his later years. The psalmist knew trouble. And he knew how to endure.

“Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me; let them bring me to Your holy hill and to Your tabernacle.” –verse 3

The psalmist sought God’s light and God’s truth. He knew the limitations of the wisdom of man. And he knew that God could light the way. The psalmist knew that God could deliver–and in absence of delivery, he knew God would lead him.

May we rely on God’s wisdom, His leading as we face whatever today brings.
