“Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.” –verse 29
Facing all kinds of ill against him, the psalmist returns to the original gift: salvation from God. When parched from battle, he looked to God’s gift of salvation.
“Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation.” –Isaiah 12:3, NKJV
I find myself looking for salvation-plus…focusing on the plus. Yet stripped down, our faith begins and is fueled by that one act: God’s salvation.
May we meditate on all He has done.
