- Numbers 28:1-30:16
Today, the sun arose like any other. I awoke and wandered out to the living room, just like any other day. Breakfast, coffee, and the usual routine followed.
As I read this section of scripture, I understand anew the dept and commonality of offerings among the people of God. He required various offerings for different reasons at different times. Daily offerings wafted before Him as His people obeyed His commands.
God commands, not for coffee aroma to waft before Him (though who would blame Him if He did!), but for our lives to be an offering. My mindless waking and going through the motions are exactly that: mindless.
Offerings are meant to be mindful. And our lives as offerings should also be mindful.
How can you make today a mindful offering to God?
