“And stopping, Jesus called them and said, ‘What do you want Me to do for you?’” –Matthew 20:32, ESV

Though we learned yesterday that as Jesus’ disciples, He can do whatever He wants with our lives. We trust Him. He gives good gifts, so being subject to His whims remains the safest place we can be.

The beauty of a life of faith goes beyond merely being “owned” by the Savior. He wants to know what we want. He shows compassion and pity on us in our desires. He dreams with us and for us. He knows our hearts, but longs to connect with us. Be bold in your requests while showing utmost respect to the One to whom you ask.
