- Hebrews 9:1-13:25
“…be content with what you have, for He has said, ‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.'” –Hebrews 13:5, ESV
Why should we be content? What reason do we have that we should be content? In holiday seasons where the temptation for more and better material items abounds, why should we be content? Because we have everything in this world we want? No. Because we have achieved the spiritual maturity we desire? No.
You can rest contented because Jesus the Christ promised: He will never leave you or forsake you. Let that roll around in your heart and mind awhile. Imagine the implications. And realize all that you can let go because your confidence starts and ends with Him.
